Millions of emigrants departed from the historic port town of Cobh. Many emigrants went on to find fame and fortune while others had to endure great hardships. Cobh Heritage Centre invites visitors to our site from around the world to share their ancestors story of emigration and their subsequent experiences in the New World. We will select the best story every month and post it on our web site for everybody to read. If your story is choosen we will send a limited edition print of Cobh Heritage Centre and Deepwater Quay where the emigrant ships departed from.
